The Soul Ingredient is an up-and-coming jazz/jazz fusion band from Memphis, Tennessee, featuring eight talented musicians who are all recent high school graduates. The band members include Corbin Brassell on drums, Dar Zafer on guitar, Donald Chism, Jr. on trumpet, Elijah Sembler on saxophone, Jackson Hankins on saxophone, Jayden Johnson on keys, Matthew Montgomery on bass, and Rocco Walsh on trumpet.

After more than three years of performing and growing together, they've developed a unique sound that blends traditional jazz with modern sounds. All members are active participants in the Memphis Jazz Workshop, and six are alumni of the internationally acclaimed Memphis Central High School Jazz Band. Recently, the group stepped into the studio for the first time to record a full-length album of entirely original music, with each track revealing the individual personalities of the band members.

With their creativity and passion for the music, The Soul Ingredient continues to pay homage to the Memphis jazz scene and strives to create a lasting impact through their music.
